The steps are wider, so they can be stood on with both feet. The handrails and side panels are higher to offer extra support. The slide itself is wider, so kids and caregivers can slide down it together. To create a visual contrast to help the visually impaired, the vertical surfaces of the stairs, the first step and one platform board have been dyed darker. The play centre is equipped with many activity panels, which help develop fine motor skills moving a ring from one end of the panel to the other, turning the captains helm, viewing the surroundings from the binoculars.
